About Us

Parkside Children’s Learning Center Inc., is a privately owned and operated company. The center has been designed to provide the highest quality childcare and early childhood programs for families in the greater Bangor area. We offer an enriched learning environment in a high quality setting for the children and families we serve. We utilize the Creative Curriculum TM™ which provides emotional, social and cognitive experiences for your children during their most important years of learning and development. In addition, our location is a secured building with key code access for our Parkside families. The center is equipped with modern spacious classrooms and plenty of natural lighting, a professional Early Childhood teaching staff and a park-like playground.

Our Objective

Our objective is to provide an enriched learning environment in a very high quality setting for the children and families we serve.  Parkside CLC utilizes Creative Curriculum which is a program that NAEYC recommends. Parkside CLC will be actively working toward NAEYC accreditation this year, which will raise our high quality standards even more and provide your children with the best possible learning environment. Creative Curriculum incorporates the goals of teaching children to get along well with others and become enthusiastic learners. The difference with Creative Curriculum is that it enables teachers to teach children HOW to learn for a lifelong love of learning. The Creative Curriculum focuses on four areas of development: Social/Emotional, Physical, Cognitive and Language.

Extracurricular Offerings

Music, Sign Language, Kindermusic/My Gym offered, Maine Discovery Museum science classes with Trudi, Back up care; ages 5-12, Parents Night Out, Summer Program for school age children, family gatherings and music concerts.
